Hi, it's Saturday! That means it's time for a new color challenge. Oh...and we've such a gorgeous combo in Dynamic Duos #69. I've always loved blue and green together and these deep shades are so dramatic.
If you follow my blog, you know that I've been adding to my stash of Christmas cards. When I saw this week's colors I wondered if I could make it work for a holiday card. Absolutely!
I'm so pleased with how this card turned out. Do you know how, sometimes, the card you've "created" in your mind turns out exactly as you planned? That actually happened this time. Shocking. I know.
The panel of old olive is embossed with sheet music texture. That banner is actually a flat banner, so I added a couple of score lines near each end of the sentiment to create the folds. I popped that up over that delicate Snowflake Tree.
I hope you'll play along with me and my tremendously talented team mates at Dynamic Duos this week.
I want to see what you create with these colors.
Supply list ~
card stock: old olive, pacific point, whisper white (SU), white (PTI)
ink: pacific point
stamps: Christmas blessings (PTI)
dies: snowflake tree (Memory Box), sheet music impression plate, double ended banner (PTI)
other: stardust clear glitter pen (Sakura)
