Seize The Birthday: Flowers!

Hi!  Now that spring is here - flowers are blooming.  So, our toppings option for the new Seize The Birthday challenge is (of course) flowers!  You knew what I was leading up to.  Right?

If you choose to use our Toppings option, it doesn't need to be Springtime flowers...use whatever you wish.
Of course, you don't have to use flowers at all.  The choice is yours, as long as it's a birthday card.

I chose to use Roses on my card.

I used a stamp set from WPlus9, using some 2-step stamping.  The images were actually very easy to line up.  I stamped an extra rose and fussy cut it, so that I could pop it up on foam tape.  The vase is die cut and popped up also.
My sentiment is stamped on vellum so that the vase is still visible through the sentiment.

I hope you'll play along with us, I love seeing what everyone creates!

Supplies ~
Card stock: night of navy (SU), white (PTI), white vellum (The Paper Studio)
Ink: wild wasabi, peach parfait, tangerine tango, always artichoke, night of navy (SU)
Stamps: coming up roses (WPlus9), wet paint (PTI)
Patterned paper: dear lizzy lucky charm 6 x 6 pad (American Crafts)
Dies: coming up roses (WPlus9)
