Hi! I'm sharing 2 cards that I created for Online Card Classes - Watercolors of Cardmakers, Day 2.
Yes, I running SO behind...Day 2 was 5 days ago. It really doesn't matter, we lifetime access to all of the video tutorials and PDFs.
Day 2 showed us other ways to create watercolor backgrounds. I used 2 of the techniques on my cards.
Card 1 ~
This is my second try at this particular background technique. As with most techniques, it takes a little practice. At least, for me! The hollyhock die cut is by Memory Box.
Card 2 ~
And...once again, my first attempt didn't go as planned. BUT, after watching Debby Hughes video again, I realized I hadn't used enough water. I'm very happy with this second attempt! I'm ready to do it again! The background stamp I used is one of my favorite's from Stampin' Up!...French Script.
Thanks for taking a look today. I'll be back in a bit with my card for Day 5. Yeah, I know, I'm jumping around out of the lessons order. Ack...not enough stamping hours in my weekends!
